My BabyManual is a new, comprehensive online resource for prospective and new parents, containing authoritative and trustworthy advice and information about pre-pregnancy, pregnancy and baby care, with articles written by a range of clinicians.
Our goal is to publish over 1,400 articles covering the pregnancy journey and early stage childcare. In order to achieve this, we believe that we may need up to 400 clinicians to contribute quality, informative content.
My BabyManual now has over 75 clinicians who are contributing informative articles, relating to their specialist fields of expertise. Our contributors include nurses, GPs, paediatricians, obstetricians, gynaecologists, nutritionists and midwives, but we still have a requirement for other specialists.
The content written by medics is a central aspect of the My BabyManual proposition and makes it unique among its peers. No other website within this space contains the same level of trusted information, written by relevant sources. The website will, as a result, establish itself as the go-to and comprehensive online resource for prospective and expectant mothers, seeking health and parenting answers.
Expectant mothers can also subscribe to a regular weekly newsletter, which is packed with useful information about the growth and development of their unborn baby.
The website will also eventually contain a forum, where mothers can exchange views, write about their experiences and develop a community.
In due course, we hope to be able to win the endorsement of recognised medical authorities, such that they use the website as a reference point to steer their patients towards for information and general guidance.
Our objective is to build a volume of website traffic around authoritative expert content and in turn monetise this traffic through sponsorship and advertising packages of web pages, sold to relevant brands.
How do I get started?
Please provide us with your relevant information in the form opposite. You will then be presented with our revenue sharing agreement which you can sign at your leisure. Once we have your signed agreement, we will get in touch with you using the contact details submitted in the agreement.
What should I write about?
We are generally prescriptive about the articles we need written and will liaise with you as to your specialist areas of expertise and the subjects you believe you can write about authoritatively. There is an area within the clinician login page on the website which provides a list of all the articles required. There may be others, which we haven’t considered but you feel would be important to include. Please let us know if you have any suggestions.
How long should each article be?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept any content that is available to view on any website other than www.mybabymanual.co.uk. If you have an article that has not been published elsewhere online and you believe it to be a valuable source of information for parents, you may submit it under the Revenue Sharing Agreement, provided it has been suitably adapted for the My BabyManual audience.
How should articles be submitted?
You can either send your completed article to contact@mybabymanual.co.uk or upload it within the dashboard on your login screen.
How many articles should I write?
Please write as many as you are able to as long as they are of the highest quality, informative and ultimately will be of interest to our audience. Above all, they must convey authority from a medical expert’s perspective. The more articles you write, the more revenue you will generate.
When will I get paid for writing an article?
My BabyManual will pay you at the end of the month after the article is published, once you have issued the company with your invoice.
